My film is called “Where do we go when we die, if anywhere at all?”. I wanted to create a piece that merges two unlikely things- comfort and death. With research conducted by Dr Raymond Moody, I try to answer the question.

My film is titled: ‘a matter of love and death’, following the narrative of a recently deceased artist attempting to overcome their perfectionism in order to pass through to the afterlife. This film is based on my own experiences, while tying together the vibes of Bridgerton and Fleabag, to say that you are good enough. Enjoy! :)

Hi I’m Reuben and this is my solo film project ‘Just Do You!’ I wrote this song to display the story of a boy trying to find himself to highlight some important issues towards toxic masculinity and gender stereotypes within society. In a nutshell, LOVE YOURSELF, you’re amazing. Enjoy :)

My film is called “Remember The Time.’ In the piece I explore the effects of change and the different ways I've found people I know grieve and deal with change. I wanted to create a piece that has something in it that people can relate to.

The title of my film is “The Change Starts Now” and through the use of makeup and digital drawings it explores political movements, such as feminism, racism and LGBTQ+ and how it makes different people in society feel on the inside. It’s a topic i’m very passionate about and feel it needs to be discussed more.

My solo film is called: “The Effects of Grief”. In this piece I wanted to capture different kinds of emotions people experience when they lose a loved one. The two I focused on were happiness and anger. Ultimately I wanted to show people the impact grief can have on someone.

My film is about the effect the COVID -19 pandemic has had on the arts industry and the way it has been neglected by the government. It is to show how as an industry we will continue to do what we love and persevere until we can be on stage again. Hope you enjoy!

My film is a story about how life may be in the future and how a comedic optimist may take things. I called it  ‘light take on an apocalypse’ because it's fun to see the normally depressing apocalyptic theme and make something funny out of it.

My Film is called “Home of my mind” and it is about the freeing feeling that creativity and imagination can provide, and how in hard times like this where we feel very trapped, we should turn to the arts to bring us joy and let our minds run free.

I’ve always felt uncomfortable in my smile and laugh, I wrote this song to show how we ALL actually are pretty despite the parts that we hate about ourselves. It’s about finding comfort in those things and not putting yourself down but instead realising you’re beautiful in the mind, body and soul you’re in. <3

My film is about finding people's individual definition of their womanhood and what that means in regards to their identity. I explore what it means to them, where they find their connection to it and whether it is something that ultimately causes them joy or pain. If there is one message I want people to come away with after watching my film, it is that you should live by your own rules- live for your own interests and passion- and not the rigid binaries of gender identity.

My film is called ‘Body Dysmorphia’. I have created this piece to represent how someone suffering with body dysmorphia might feel. I also created this to spread awareness of how many people struggle with insecurities and anxiety, and how you shouldn’t comment on other peoples bodies. This is a topic I am personally very passionate about, I hope you enjoy watching :)

My short film entitled- Better than Before- is about the dance world and all the expectations that come along with being a dancer. It's about my passion towards dance, and how much dance brings happiness into my life. I hope as you watch this, dancer or non dancer, you learn about the dance industry.

‘What we do’

In this film I am trying to explore how we define our actions as good or bad and if we can make

certain allowances for different actions, and the difference between a petty deed with little

consequences or a more severe one.
